Double Dog Dare (DDD) is a Flyball Club founded by Dana Hanson. Dana was kind enough to invite us to the club for a taste of the sport of Flyball. Flyball is a team, retrieving race that is great fun to do and very entertaining to watch. For more information on this fantastic sport you will find links in the Dog Sports menu on the Home pg.

We were very lucky to get the chance to visit with this dedicated group of hard working, fast dogs and their very helpful handlers. We got to see some excellent training. Roo, our female Australian cattle dog, even had the opportunity to try out the launching box and the jumps. We had a blast and are happy to report how much fun this sport is. We came back with lots of information on necessary training and racing equipment along with a basic feel for training dogs for this sport. Most of all, we came away with new friends and a great deal of enthusiasm for running ball retrieving dogs over hurdles.

We would like to complement all the Mini Cooper club members on their dog's great behavior during their visit to WolfBrook. All the proud owners seemed to enjoy the great weather and the chance to hang out together in the great outdoors. We know we did. Barry and Tony deserve many thanks for putting this event together, great job!
