Games
Cards, ping
pong, horse shoes, tether ball........We offer a
variety of activities that we will adjust to the
interest of our members.
Kitchen
The kitchen has
a large freezer, refrigerator, warming oven, microwave,
sink, cabinets, tables and chairs. People are welcome
to bring their own food. We intend to make it easy for
families or groups of friends to enjoy snacks or meals
together on site.
Food and Drinks
We stock the
kitchen with foods and drinks experimenting to find
what is popular. We do not intend to operate a
restaurant. The food and drinks offered will largely be
self serve, self prepared foods.
Camp Fires
We are blessed
with an abundance of wood and will offer camp fires and
marshmallow roasts regularly. We are developing picnic
areas that members can use.
Camping
There are a
large quantity of flat camping areas within an easy
walk of: parking, bath with shower, kitchen...
Walking/Running
There are
scenic trails, fields and creeks for wandering or
exercising. We encourage an interesting array of
animals, insects and birds. We plant flowers, herbs and
trees that attract, feed and house our diverse
assortment of fauna.
Cookouts
We have a
large, trailered smoker/grill. We offer regular group
cook outs for members. We have a good supply of hickory
on site. Chicken on a Throne, butts, steak, ribs, pork
tenderloin, fish, burgers, hot dogs, we enjoy them
all.
